Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV You are the light that was created to shine. As your light illuminates, it proves to be a guide in the right direction for those walking in the dark. As a Believer, you are called to be radiant in all you do, everywhere you go, and every word you speak. Shine in your workplace. Shine at school. Shine in your home. Shine in your marriage. Shine amid darkness, wherever that may be. As a Light-radiating person, you live in such a manner that people give praise not to you but the Almighty God. Be the Light you are called to be that cannot be hidden. Don’t hide your Light, but let it shine, shine, shine.

“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you because you obey the voice of the Lord your God” Deuteronomy 28:1-2 NLT. I prophesy over you today that the blessings of the Lord will come and overtake you because of your obedience. I prophesy that because you yield to Holy Spirit, He is about to overtake your health, overtake your marriage, overtake your children. I declare that an overtaken by the Lord is about to come in your workplace, ministry, and home. I speak forth that the financial blessings from the Lord will overtake you and bring no sorrow. I prophesy that the Lord will overtake your mind as it is renewed, that Adonai will overtake your conversation. Because of your obedience to the Most High God, the Lord’s blessings shall come upon you and overtake you. The Lord bless you; I bless you in the Lord’s name.

“For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” James 1 : 3-4 NLT Note that the scripture does not state “if”; instead, James says “when.” It is a given that our faith will be tested. The testing becomes a measurement of our faith endurance. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, endurance is “the ability to withstand hardship or adversity, especially the ability to sustain a prolonged stressful effort or activity.” Also, it can be defined as “the act or an instance of enduring or suffering.” An athlete of any kind goes through strengthening and conditioning; they use low intensity and high-intensity exercises to increase their stamina to endure a physical activity they will have to go through. The same is true with everyone in life; your faith will be tested. These tests expose our weaknesses and the area we need to improve to pass them the next time. Trust me; it will come around again, so grow in everything you go through. Build your faith endurance through worship, praise, studying the Word of God, prayer, fasting, and moments in solitude with God.
